American Indians and Alaska Natives are historically more likely than individuals of other racial and ethnic groups to need rehabilitation for substance abuse and addiction. So therefore, there is an absolute need for a variety of service types to cover all of the various requirements of American Indian or Alaska Natives, including substance abuse treatment programs in native languages.
