Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Livermore, CA.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need addiction recovery services in Livermore, Medicare will pay for certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the person's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
