Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Pacific Palisades, CA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Pacific Palisades, Medicare will cover certain treatment programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

People who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
