Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Facilities - Palo Alto, CA.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need addiction treatment in Palo Alto, Medicare can pay for various rehabilitation programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of treatment.

Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient drug and alcohol rehab. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications administered by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want additional health insurance apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.
