Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Facilities - Rescue, CA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health care for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require substance abuse recovery services in Rescue, Medicare will pay for certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the costs for outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as depression or anxiety and drugs dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want additional coverage apart from Medicare Parts A, B, and D. Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and medications used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
