Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centers - Summerland, CA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need addiction recovery services in Summerland, Medicare will pay for certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
