Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs - Aurora, CO.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Aurora, Medicare can cover certain rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain types of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the expenses for outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation. This includes outpatient care, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and drugs administered by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want additional health insurance aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as medications used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
