Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Nederland, CO.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Nederland, Medicare will cover certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees for outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and drugs administered by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for clients who want additional health insurance in addition to Medicare Parts A, B, and D. People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
