Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs - Rico, CO.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health benefits for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people who do have Medicare and need addiction rehabilitation in Rico, this program may cover various rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees for outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation. Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want supplemental coverage aside from Medicare Parts A, B, and D. Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
