Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facilities - Experiment, GA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require substance abuse rehabilitation in Experiment, Medicare may pay for certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, this applies to the person's lifetime.

People who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
