Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need addiction recovery services in Charlotte, Medicare may cover certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain types of care.

Individuals who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
