Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Grant, IA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people who do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Grant, this program can cover various treatment programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the person's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
