Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Mystic, IA.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and require substance abuse recovery services in Mystic, this program can pay for certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain types of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees associated with outpatient substance abuse treatment. This includes outpatient services, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications administered by clinics. It also covers professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want supplemental health insurance in addition to what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
