Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers - Peoria, IL.
Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for health care for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol treatment in Peoria, Medicare will cover certain rehabilitation programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different kinds of medical care.
Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.
Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the expenses associated with outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications administered by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.
Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for clients who want supplemental coverage apart from Medicare Parts A, B, and D. Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.
Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
