Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs - Philo, IL.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need addiction recovery services in Philo, this program will pay for certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient addiction rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the person's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
