There are both outpatient and inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, but there are some types of outpatient drug and alcohol treatment in Long Island to choose from. Typical outpatient care is minimally invasive and clients can usually attend counseling and therapy a few times a week. Intensive outpatient rehabs offer therapy and counseling similar to normal outpatient, but on a more intensive pace that also allows time for work and family life.
