Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Programs - Avenue, MD.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and require substance abuse treatment in Avenue, Medicare will pay for various rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different types of care.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
