ATR is a federally-funded program which makes it possible for qualified people to access treatment facilities and services including inpatient, intensive outpatient, regular outpatient, counseling, continuing care, life coaching and recovery support, vocational training, skills building, and transportation assistance. The ATR grant program allows individuals with vouchers to acquire treatment and recovery support services for addiction disorders at the provider of their choice. To be eligible for ATR individuals must meet certain requirements, including: 1) must be 18 years or older, 2) have a history of substance use or abuse, 3) have an annual income that is less than 200% of the Federal poverty level, and 4) reside in the counties or jurisdictions that provide ATR.
