Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program which is less than intensive out-patient and more intensive than regular outpatient treatment. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help individuals who need intensive rehab for a co-occurring mental health disorder, but don't need around the clock supervision and treatment. For someone who has completed inpatient rehabilitation, a partial hospitalization day treatment plan in Center Lovell could help them make the transition more easily into a drug or alcohol free lifestyle as a viable "step-down" option. After partial hospitalization day treatment, the person could then phase into regular out-patient treatment.
When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment program, they commonly participate in services in the range of 3-5 days per week. It is like an in-patient program in many significant ways, including the fact that individuals will have access tomental health professionals, physicians and nurses who can address the physical, emotional and psychological issues they are trying to conquer. For at least four to six hours on the days that clients participate in partial hospitalization day treatment, they will receive individual addiction therapy, attend group counseling sessions, psychotherapy sessions, receive any required medical care and address any of the mental health issues that trigger their drug and alcohol addiction.
