Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehab Facilities - East Poland, ME.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and require substance abuse rehab in East Poland, this program can cover certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees associated with outpatient substance abuse treatment. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as depression or anxiety and medications dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for clients who want additional coverage in addition to Medicare Parts A, B, and D. People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
