Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol treatment in Port Clyde, Medicare may pay for various rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of care.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
