Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a kind of outpatient addiction treatment program which is less than intensive out-patient and more intensive than regular outpatient rehabilitation. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also tailored to clients who require in-depth treatment for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but don't require 24 hour intervention and treatment. When a person is in a partial hospitalization day treatment program, they commonly participate in services anywhere from three to five days per week.
