Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centers - Dearborn, MI.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need addiction rehab in Dearborn, this program can pay for certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want supplemental health insurance aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
