Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health care for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people who do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Grand Junction, this program will pay for certain treatment programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different kinds of medical care.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
