Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a kind of out-patient substance abuse treatment program which is less than intensive outpatient and more intensive than normal outpatient treatment. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help people who may need in-depth rehabilitation for a co-occurring mental health disorder, but don't require 24 hour supervision and treatment.
