Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of care.

It also pays for professional interventions.
Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for people who want supplemental coverage aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.
Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
