Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Facilities - Washington, MI.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and require addiction treatment in Washington, this program may pay for certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the costs for outpatient substance abuse treatment. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and drugs dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for people who want supplemental health insurance aside from Medicare Parts A, B, and D. People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as medications used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
