Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers - Finland, MN.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and require substance abuse rehab in Finland, this program may cover various rehabilitation programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, this applies to the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation. This includes outpatient services, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications dispensed by clinics. It also covers professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for people who want supplemental coverage in addition to Medicare Parts A, B, and D. People who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
