Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require addiction rehabilitation in Lansing, Medicare may cover certain treatment programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of treatment.

Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
