Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Programs - Little Canada, MN.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Little Canada, Medicare can pay for various rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

People who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
