Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a kind of outpatient addiction rehabilitation program which is less than intensive out-patient and more intensive than regular outpatient rehabilitation. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help clients who require intensive rehab for a co-occurring mental health disorder, but don't need around the clock intervention and care. For a client who has completed inpatient rehabilitation, a partial hospitalization day treatment plan in Wendell could help them transition more easily into a drug-free way of life as a viable "step-down" option. Following partial hospitalization day treatment, the client could then phase over to regular outpatient care.
When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment facility, they typically participate in services in the range of 3-5 days per week. It is similar to an in-patient program in many important ways, including the fact that people will get access tonurses, physicians, and mental health professionals who can deal with the physical, emotional and psychological issues they are trying to overcome. For at least four to six hours on the days that clients participate in partial hospitalization day treatment, the clients will get individual addiction therapy, psychotherapy services, participate in group counseling, receive any necessary medical care and deal with any of the mental health symptoms that are triggering their drug addiction.
