Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of outpatient drug and alcohol rehab program that is just below intensive out-patient and more intensive than normal outpatient rehab. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also tailored to clients who require intense rehab for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but do not need around the clock intervention and treatment. For a client who has finished inpatient treatment, a partial hospitalization day treatment plan in Bethel could be of help to them transition more easily into a sober lifestyle as a viable "step-down" option. Following partial hospitalization day treatment, the person could then transition over to regular outpatient treatment.
When a person is in a partial hospitalization day treatment facility, they typically participate in services anywhere from 3-5 days per week. It is very much like an in-patient program in many significant ways, including the fact that individuals will get access tonurses, physicians, and mental health professionals who can address the physical, emotional and psychological issues they are trying to overcome. For at least four to six hours on the days that individuals attend partial hospitalization day treatment, they will receive one-on-one addiction therapy, psychotherapy services, participate in group counseling, receive any needed medical care and address any of the mental health symptoms that are triggering their drug addiction.
