Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of outpatient addiction rehabilitation program that is less than intensive out-patient and more intensive than regular outpatient treatment. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help individuals who may need intensive rehabilitation for a co-occurring mental health disorder, but do not require 24 hour supervision and care. When a person is in a partial hospitalization day treatment center, they commonly participate in services in the range of 3-5 days per week.
