It too is taken on a daily basis, and is priced around $450 /month. Naltrexone is another med used in opioid maintenance therapy, but unlike the other drugs mentioned here it's an opiate blocker and is not an opiate. A person has the choice to take this drug as a monthly injection, which is called Vivitrol. As an opioid blocker, it prevents an individual from getting high from opioids, and in turn lowers the risk associated with relapse. This daily injection costs anywhere from $1000 to $1200 per month.
