DWI clients in rehab need specific requirements met to fulfill the conditions of their court sentencing. Rehab programs which help satisfy these court requirements and terms, which are usually more lenient than regular sentencing such as heavy fines and jail time, are available in Michigan to deliver educational services, therapy, and additional assessment for clients with serious substance abuse problems.

Drug and Alcohol Education is a primary tool used at rehab programs treating DWI clients. There are a few different levels of alcohol education classes which can differ by state.
