DWI Clients - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers - Raleigh, ND.

DWI clients in rehab need to complete specific requirements to fulfill the terms of their court sentencing. Rehab facilities which help satisfy these court requirements and conditions, which are usually more lenient than regular sentencing which would include steep fines and jail time, are available in Raleigh to deliver DWI classes, therapy, and further evaluation for serious drug or alcohol issues.

Education is a fundamental treatment tool used at rehabs catering to DWI clients. There are a few different levels of alcohol education classes and this can vary by state. Level I education generally include 12 hours of education about the effects of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what a person with a first offense or someone under 21 will usually be required to complete. Level II courses would consist of both education and group therapy in a program which is approved by the courts. How long a client will need to be in therapy depends upon various factors, which can be, for example, the number of DWI's the person has had, and the seriousness of the violation. Ordinarily, clients will be required to take the Level II classes and therapy unless their blood-alcohol content was extremely low when they were arrested and there were no other serious infractions when the person was arrested.
