Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs - Ashland, NE.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health care for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people who do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol treatment in Ashland, this program will cover certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient addiction rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees for outpatient drug and alcohol rehab. This includes outpatient care, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and drugs administered by clinics. It also covers professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for clients who want additional coverage aside from Medicare Parts A, B, and D. People who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
