Military Insurance - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centers - Avoca, NE.

The armed forces currently uses a military insurance known as Tricare to help veterans, active military members and their families obtain health benefits. There is Tricare Prime, Tricare Standard, and Tricare Extra. Tricare Standard offers benefits for retirees of the military who are 60 years of age or older and their eligible family members. With Tricare Standard they receive services from any non-military health care provider that is payable under Tricare, but also pay an annual deductible and coinsurance, as well as any out-of-pocket expenses. Tricare Extra is available to Tricare Standard beneficiaries which allows access to non-military health care professionals within their provider network, with a reduced coinsurance amount. Tricare Prime is available to all active-duty members, retirees, and all qualified family members, and with this they can choose a primary doctor and obtain referrals to health care services that provide specialty care.

By way of TRICARE, members of the military can acquire substance abuse rehabilitation services in Avoca. This includes detoxification, individual and group therapy including family therapy, and other various treatment services. They will need pre-authorization for services and there are likely to be some limitations. Military insurance pays for both outpatient and inpatient, but inpatient services for detox are restricted to no more than 7 days. Partial hospitalization or impatient treatment following detoxification will only be authorized if it is an approved facility, and there are time restrictions as to how long military insurance carriers will be permitted to stay in rehab. A 3-week inpatient stay per benefit period is commonly allowed. In additional to this, there are 60 group therapy sessions and 15 family therapy sessions covered per benefit period, which take place on an outpatient basis. Family therapy is covered one after the active military member has completed other rehabilitation services such as inpatient or outpatient treatment.
