Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Elyria, NE.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient substance abuse treatment. This includes outpatient care, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and drugs dispensed by clinics. It also covers professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want supplemental health insurance aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
