These rehabs also usually offer a wider array of services that regular outpatient may not provide, including alternative therapies, medication management, and dual-diagnosis treatment.
It isn't uncommon for individuals in outpatient alcohol or drug rehab or following rehab in outpatient drug and alcohol rehab to experience a relapse. In these cases inpatient rehab would ideally be the next step.
