Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
