Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient substance abuse treatment program which is less than intensive outpatient and more intensive than regular outpatient rehabilitation. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help clients who need in-depth rehab for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but don't need twenty-four hour supervision and treatment.
