Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers - Stockholm, NJ.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for health care for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need substance abuse rehabilitation in Stockholm, Medicare can cover certain rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the expenses associated with outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and drugs administered by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for people who want supplemental health insurance aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
