Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Programs - Las Vegas, NV.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people who do have Medicare and need addiction rehabilitation in Las Vegas, Medicare may cover certain rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the costs for outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for people who want supplemental health insurance apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
