Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient substance abuse treatment program which is less than intensive outpatient and more intensive than normal outpatient treatment. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help individuals who need intensive rehabilitation for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but do not require twenty-four hour supervision and care.
