The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to promote the mental health of the nation. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehab facilities, which are centers who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
