For a person who has finished inpatient rehabilitation, a partial hospitalization day treatment program in Ava could be of help to them transition more easily into a drug or alcohol free lifestyle as a viable "step-down" option. After partial hospitalization day treatment, the person could then transition into regular out-patient care.
When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment center, they typically take part in services anywhere from three to five days per week. It is like an in-patient program in many significant ways, including the fact that individuals will have access tomental health professionals, physicians and nurses who can address the physical, emotional and psychological issues they are trying to overcome. For at least 4-6 hours on the days that individuals participate in partial hospitalization day treatment, they will receive individual addiction therapy, attend group counseling sessions, psychotherapy sessions, get any needed medical care and address any of the mental health problems that trigger their alcohol and drug addiction.
