Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers - Bronx, NY.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and require addiction recovery services in Bronx, this program can pay for certain recovery programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient drug and alcohol treatment. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and drugs dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for clients who want additional coverage in addition to what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as those required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
