Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation program which is just below intensive outpatient and more intensive than regular out-patient treatment. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help clients who require intense treatment for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but don't need around the clock intervention and care. When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment facility, they typically take part in services anywhere from 3-5 days per week.
