Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for health care for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol treatment in Greenwood, Medicare will pay for various rehabilitation programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of treatment.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
